Series Summary

A long time ago, a group of scientists from the planet Arus built a giant robot called Voltron to defend their home. But the evil Zarkon defeated Voltron and split the heroic robot into five pieces. Fortunately, a group of elite explorers discovered and reassembled the five pieces, and Voltron returned to defend the galaxy. First debuting in the US in 1984, Voltron: Defender of the Universe helped kick off the anime craze in America that continues to this day.
