Series Summary

This U.S. adaptation, set in a Scranton, Pa., paper company office, is somewhat faster paced than the original. However, all the characters essentially are the same - from Michael Scott, the worst boss ever, to smitten everyman Jim, who is wooing pert receptionist Pam when he isn't preoccupied with baiting his high-strung, brown-nosing co-worker Dwight.
