Series Summary

After crashing-landing his spacecraft into the garage of a suburban family, an alien from the planet Melmac takes up residence with the Tanner family. The family nicknames him Alf, short for Alien Life Form, and Alf eventually becomes one of the family. Alf is a short, furry, and very sarcastic observer of human culture, with his difficult personality and appetite for cats often causing trouble for the Tanners.
